Dear Praying Friend,

Loving greetings to you in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ !

I have been spending lot of time in prayer these days. Ending the year with thanks giving and beginning the new year with thanks giving and beginning the new year with great victory and declaration that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever ! Heb.13.8.

First of all I would like to thank all of our dear prayer partners. You have stood with us and supported us throughout the year 2007. It is only because of your prayer support that the Lord used me in different states of India. We are all working together for the same Lord and for the same Kingdom. The Lord will reward you openly for the same. My sincere thanks to al the dear ones who have supported us financially throughout the year 2007 with their sacrificial contribution. How true it is when the Bible says ”One will sow, the other will water but it is God who will give the increase”. I really praise God for each one of you.

I encourage you all to continue to stand with us in the Lord’s work in reaching out for the lost for Jesus. Your prayer and financial support will be a great help to us. You can involve yourself in this ministry through your prayers and regular contribution. If you are already doing it then this year you can raise up one more prayer supporter to pray for our ministry or one more person to help us financially in the Lord’s work, it will be highly appreciated and our work in reaching India with the Gospel will progress more and more. Kindly pray about this and do as the Lord leads you.

Our missionary Brother Sadananda Jena has own several soul by his hard work from the beginning of 2007. Now 27 families are attending regular church service in Khandaba Village. Few months back few people in the village persecuting our believers but by Gods Grace two sisters from that group have repented and have accepted Jesus as their personal saviour. On Christmas occasion we had arranged a fellowship lunch for 60 families, both Christians and Non-Christians had joined. A procession was taken out on the eve of Christmas occasion. Please pray that many would come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Regular evening house prayer was conducted in the Khandaba Village 3 brothers have shown keen interest to know more about Jesus Christ, Please pray that God would use brother Sadananda mightily in this area for his glory and also pray for his family.

Bro. Sadananda Bidika is working in this mission field from the beginning of 2007 in Nilamguda, DG Colony, Kujendri, Khambaguda and Khalagumuda. He has undergone through much persecution and humiliation. But as the result of Bro. Bidika’s labour many souds have been added to the “Church”. Regular Church service and prayer are conducted in the village. Though a large number of believers work as daily laborer, they attend Church service regularly. Please pray for Bro. Bidika and family so that they can stand as a great witness for Lord Jesus, in this area. Bro. Bidika has taken decision to reach out to more villages and to conduct fasting prayer in 5 Churches in a month. Please pray that the follow up work would be successful and many will come to Christ.

Brother Babu Rao is working as the missionary in S. Singipur mission field. He is working in the adjacent Routranga, Perupanga, Padara and Sulukupa villages. his ministry include helping the poor, to pray for the sick and to have good fellowship with others. Many times he is facing persecution. Recently 7 members have accepted Lord Jesus as their personal Lord and saviour. Please pray for Bro. Babu Rao and family. His two sons have to walk 8 Km daily to attend school. Pray for this inconvenience. 4 brothers are working with him please pray for their safety.

Brother Ananda Palaka is working in this field along with Biripadara, Bikrampur, Talsingh and Jhumuguda. Every Wednesday and Friday he conducts house prayer. Before they were hating Christians and were not willing to listen to God’s word. They were scared that they would loose all Govt. facilities if they accept Christianity. But Bro. Ananda is sharing the Love of God patiently with them. One day all of a sudden some people came and requested him to pray for their peace and well being, and three families accepted Lord Jesus as their personal saviour. Since then these 3 families are attending Church service regularly. Please pray that we will have a plentiful harvest in the coming 2008.

Our missionary brother Taku Missal and Devadas Missal are working in this area. .In 2007 brother have worked hard and have encouraged believers to grow spiritually. In 2007 they have worked hard and have added many new soul in the Church. We have built a small cottage to conduct worship service, with the help and co-operation of believers.

Bro. Y. Ravi is working in this area. Every week he visits Kasinagar, Talada, Raiipuram, Vendetapuram, B. Laxmipuram. He uses mega voice system to preach the Gospel. Many have accepted and have joined the Church. There is a practical problem in Talada village. We were conducting worship service construction a small hut. But the owner of the house is asking to vacate the place as he is not a believer. One family in Kashinagar had asked to pray for them as they had no children. God heard their prayer and have blessed them with a baby girl. Two families in Venkatpuram have joined the Church. Bro. Tulasi is working in Kidigam village. Every Friday he visits Kaiti Bhadra and Kortam village. Please pray that we would witness a good harvest in 2008. Last year relief was giving among the flood affected people in kashinagar village. Thank you so much for your prayer and support.

Bro. P.Bipro is working very hard in the Baidalpuram mission field. God has given 27 souls in 2007 Bro. Ch. Simhadri is working in Kommanapally area. This year Christmass was celebrated for the first time in Ponturr village. Christmas feast was arranged in Kommanapally Church. There is no electricity connection in ponturu village. Please pray for Bro. Jaggarao is also working in this area. One brother in Kondarajulu village is regularly attending Church service. Please pray for the new believers.

Praise Lord IGOSA , completed 23rd year of ministry. In last Nov-1st on that occasion a meeting was organized in Singipur village, around 200 Pastors and evangelists have attended the meeting. Church Children conducted a cultural programme on the occasion. A message was preached from 2 tim 4 5. Director Rev.Niranjan encourage the pastors and evangelist to do the work of an evangelist. At last a fellowship lunch was arranged for all the participants.

A medical camp was organized in Katalakaitha and Singipur village on Nov-9 to 10-2007. Arround 800 people have benefited from this medical camp. Free medicine was distributed.

In 2007 IGOSA is sponsoring 10 children to study ITI and one girl is pursuing GNM training.

Recently our neighboring District Kondhomal has witnessed a worst communal violence against Christians. Around 70 Churches were burnt down and hundreds of houses of Christians were torched and belongings looted. Christians are terrified. Please pray for the peace in the region and for their safety.

In closing I want to express my deep appreciation and thanks to each one of you. It is due to your involvement in our ministry that I and my staff have an opportunity to serve you. However, I along with the staff request your special prayers and anointing upon each one of us. All of us do recognize how important it is for each one of you to pray for all of us here in the office. Please pray for us that the Lord would strengthen us in our endeavour for him. Pray for the various projects we are contemplating. Above all pray that our labour for the Lord may not be in vain but that we could be a channel of blessing to may people to whom we minister. • The Lord to meet the monthly financial need of the ministry and the support of the full time staff workers.
